Kim joined Girls on the Run of Dayton in July 2016 as Program Coordinator to support the mission of the organization: to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident.  She advanced to the position of Council Director in May 2017. "I fully believe it is a privilege to mentor and guide coaches as they teach the GOTR experience-based curriculum. In addition, I am honored  to work with other strong like-minded individuals, whose passion it is to help girls reach their limitless potential and find true empowerment."

Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of Dayton. She has experience in various educational settings in the Miami Valley. Kim is a true advocate for all students.

Michelle Vollmar : Chairperson

Michelle Vollmar



Michelle has been volunteering for GOTR Dayton for four years, serving as a coach, Board Member and Development Committee Chairperson. "I love being able to teach girls to appreciate and embrace their unique place in the world. Watching girls with diverse personalities and backgrounds blossom over the course of a season and become more confident in who they are has been life-changing. I believe this program is vitally important to shaping an entire community of future women leaders. Every 3rd-8th grade girl, regardless of her financial circumstances, deserves the opportunity to experience this inspiring program." Michelle is a partner at Rogers & Greenberg, LLP; earned her B.S. in Business from Miami University and received her law degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Dayton School of Law.

Dr. Beth Duvall : Vice Chairperson

Beth joined the GOTR Board of Directors in August 2015 after volunteering for several years as a running buddy.  She has also served as a coach and as Volunteer Coordinator. “It is an honor to be able to work with the girls of tomorrow and to empower them to be their best by providing a safe and encouraging environment.”  Beth is an internist and pediatrician, and has been in the Dayton area for the past 20 years.  She currently works at Executive Medical Centers of Ohio in the Oakwood area.  She received her doctorate at Wright State University, School Of Medicine and her undergraduate degree at Ohio University.


Marianna Morrison : Treasurer

Marianna joined the GOTR Dayton Board as Treasurer in August 2015. "My daughter is a Girls on the Run alum, and observing the positive impact our program has had on her has inspired me to contribute to this organization and be a part of offering its benefits to many other young girls in our community." Marianna is an accountant at Brixey & Meyer, Inc. There, she serves on the Brixey & Meyer Community Outreach Foundation, which supports a number of different organizations annually, and she is also active with the YMCA swim team. Marianna earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wyoming.

Liz has been volunteering for Girls on The Run of Dayton for four years, serving as a coach and site liaison at Incarnation School, and as Site Coordinator and Board Member at the Council level. "As a coach, I fell in love with the program and concept of GOTR and wanted to increase my level of involvement. There is no reason every school in the Dayton community should not have GOTR. Girls from all backgrounds can benefit from the curriculum. That is why I am thrilled to have a role on the GOTR Council and help bring the GOTR program to local schools.” Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master degrees in Education.

Noelle Bailey : Board Member

Noelle joined the GOTR Dayton Board in January of 2017. “I was inspired after volunteering as a running buddy and knew this was an organization I wanted to be a part of in the future. The Girls on the Run message is so inspiring and as a mother of a young daughter, it was impossible not to feel empowered to help the program grow in Dayton and the surrounding communities.”

Noelle is a medical device sales representative in the Dayton/Columbus area. She
earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wright State University while competing on their
swim team and a MBA from the University of Dayton. When not busy working and
being a mom she loves adventures especially on her mountain bike and snowboard.

Anna joined the Girls on The Run Board in April 2016. "I am honored to be a part of GOTR because I am passionate about building confidence in future women leaders. What an amazing opportunity to champion the vision of 'making the seemingly impossible, possible and teaching girls that they CAN.'" Anna is an account director at Lunne Marketing Group. She holds a B.S. In Marketing from Miami University and her MBA from the University of Dayton.

Cristlyn Johnston : Board Member

Cristlyn Johnston joined the GOTR Dayton Board in January 2017. She is the Director of Operations at Miami Valley Hospital South (MVHS) in Centerville. Prior to coming to the hospital, Cristlyn spent the first 10 years of her career with Clear Channel Radio as an account manager. While there, she became familiar with Premier Health by marketing their various health events/promotions as well as the opening of MVHS. It was this campaign that prompted her move to the healthcare industry. After five years as the Community Relations Manager, she transitioned to operations after successfully managing all non-clinical aspects of the hospital’s expansion as a member of the bed tower project steering committee.

Cristlyn is a University of Cincinnati graduate and completed her MBA at Indiana Wesleyan University. She and her daughter Alayna live in Centerville Ohio.

Meg joined the GOTR Dayton Board of Directors in August 2015. "I am excited to be a part of this amazing organization that promotes self-confidence and healthy living and teaches young girls how to achieve the goals they set for themselves. It is so important to help girls at this age to realize their full potential and worth." Meg graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in Psychology and earned her law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law.

Louise joined the GOTR Dayton Board of Directors in August 2015. Prior to joining the Board, she supported GOTR Dayton by volunteering at 5k events, bringing teams of high school girls to help. "I am very excited to be involved in an outstanding organization that is helping to positively influence the lives of girls who will someday work in and run our businesses and government organizations."  A native Daytonian, Louise received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Wright State University.

Christine has been volunteering for Girls on the Run of Dayton for six years, serving as a coach, running buddy, volunteer coordinator, program coordinator and, from May 2015 - May 2017, as Council Director. "In less than 10 years, the girls participating in Girls on the Run today will be the adult women living, studying, working and serving in our communities. By investing in these young girls now and teaching them to be the leaders of their lives, we are investing in the women who will soon be the leaders in our community and continue our work of changing the world for the better." Christine started her Marketing career with NCR 28 years ago and currently works at Teradata. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.

Susie Stein : Board Member

Susie is a founding member of the Board of Directors for GOTR Dayton, supporting the organization since it was established in 2009. "I have loved watching our program evolve. My hope is to have GOTR touch and teach all young women in our area. I love that the coaches, site liaisons, volunteers and everyone involved in this program are choosing to be a part of it because they want to positively influence young girls and their outlooks on life and on themselves." Susie is the owner of Up and Running, with stores in Dayton and Troy, recently recognized as the 2016 Run Specialty Retailer of the Year by Girls on the Run International.  Susie holds a B.S. in Business from Ohio Dominican.
